Selecting Alphabet Character Patterns

1. Touch .

2. Touch the key of the font you want to embroider.

   1. If the check box is selected, a preview of all characters will appear after the font has been selected.

3. If a preview of the characters is displayed, confirm that it is the desired font, and then touch [OK].

   

4. Specify the size of the characters to be entered. Select the character category and then type in the text.

   
   1. Change the font of the characters.
   2. Specify the character size.
   3. Move the cursor and select a character. (Selecting Entered Characters)
   4. Switch between selecting multiple characters or selecting a single character. (Selecting Entered Characters)
   5. Delete the character.
   6. Add a line.
   7. Enter a space.
   8. Align the characters at the right, left or center. (Adding a New Line of Text)
   9. Change the spacing of the character patterns. (Character Pattern Editing Screen)
   10. Change the configuration of the character patterns. (Character Pattern Editing Screen)
       • When entering text, the cursor is positioned after the last character entered. If the font or character size setting is changed, the new setting will be applied starting with the next character entered.

       • By selecting characters that have already been entered, you can change the font and character size. Refer to Selecting Entered Characters.

5. Touch [Set].

6. Follow steps 4 through 7 of Selecting Embroidery Patterns.

Selecting Entered Characters

In order to change the font or size of entered characters, those characters must be selected.

Selecting a Single Character

In single character selection mode (), touch to select the character to be changed.

In multiple character selection mode (), all characters will be selected.

To deselect a character, touch it.

Adding a New Line of Text

1. Type in the first line of characters, and then touch .

2. Type in the second line of characters, and then touch . Type in the third line of characters.

   
   • In multiple character selection mode () with multiple lines of text, all characters in one line will be selected. To select characters in a different line of text, touch that line.
     

3. Touch to change the text alignment.

   : Right alignment	: Left alignment
   : Center alignment
