Update Procedure Using USB Media
When an update program is available on www.babylock.com , please download the files following the instructions on the website and steps below.
- Format the USB.
- Copy only the update file (.upf file) to the USB.
- Remove any other USB device or media from the ports.
- Some USB media may not be usable with this machine. For compatible USB media, refer to Specifications.
Turn the main power to OFF. Insert the USB media into the USB port.

Press and hold the
(Automatic threading button), turn the main power to ON.
Please keep pressing and holding
until the following screen comes and then release the button.
Touch
.Touch [Load] to update the machine.
Do not turn off the machine during the update and until this image appears.
Remove the USB media, and turn the machine off and on again.
It will take a while to start up the machine. The screen may get dark during the start up, do not turn off the machine and wait until the opening screen appears.
Depending on the machine settings, a different screen may appear instead of the opening screen.
