Winding the Bobbin without Removing the Upper Thread

With the extra spool pin, you can wind the bobbin without removing the upper thread.

1. Prepare the extra spool pin.

   

2. Set the bobbin to the machine referring to steps 1 through 2 of “Winding the Bobbin”.

3. Insert the extra spool pin into the slot for extra spool pin.

   

4. Place the spool of thread for the bobbin onto the extra spool pin.

   

5. Pull the thread to pass it under the bobbin winding thread guide.

6. Pass the thread clockwise around the bobbin winding thread guide.

   

7. Wind the thread counterclockwise under the pretension disk.

8. Wind the bobbin to referring to steps 7 through 15 of “Winding the Bobbin”.
